I'm an aspiring novelist who has gone through several colorful stages since I first began. I used to be a Mary-Sue writer, but one extremely talented and under-appreciated writer managed to grind me up and spit me out until I finally saw the error of my ways.
(On DeviantArt, some remember her as Silvarbelle and all later embraced her as Ch4ckSl4sher. Her methods may be harsh and brutal to the light-hearted, but I commend her for her brazen approach; she deserves a medal for the number of Trolls she's endured.)
I am still learning, naturally, though I truly believe that I've come far thanks to the Dragon of Sarcasm. I enjoy writing fan-fiction because it lets me display my developing skills to a wider audience and get feedback on what does and doesn't need work.
My head is often in the clouds because it's bored with life in the real world.
I find myself to be, at times, a minority as far as how I think. There are very few rational thinkers left nowadays, or so it would appear. I won't, however, rant about that here.
I am not afraid to voice my opinions, and I have no problem with accepting others'. So long as no one tries to convince me that not only am I wrong but they are right, I have nothing wrong with it. I don't like it when people act as though their own opinion is the only logical, practical, and flat-out right decision. I'm not saying that I think my own opinion is; I'm only saying that trying to convince someone to believe what you believe will only end in grudging resentment and aggravation. No one is going to change their mind, and you'll end up looking like a Troll.
Basically; if you can respect my beliefs, then I'll respect yours.
